(nc) broke my first mouse today, thank you 6 max

been playing for 9 months now, up a bunch, but breaking my mouse was a first. Slammed it so hard on the desk when someone 2 outed me on the river in another huge pot, it took me 5 minutes to even find the trackball.

just the usual culprits. Multiple set over set, many, MANY rivered bd flush/straits, overpair over overpair, 2card flush over 2 card flush. Great fun.

Thought my poker-temper was doing really well lately, but i guess I just needed a day like this to remind me that VARIANCE BLOWS SWEATY DONKY BALLS

p.s. anyone know if it's possible to glue the thingy on the bottom of the mouse so that you can still use it even though those little clips on the side have, *cough, cough* somehow broken off?

Spend $15 on an optical mouse, and you won't have to worry about breaking the clips or the wheel getting dirty.

I feel your pain, i broke my first mouse last month in a similar 6 max situation. I used some adhesive to permanently affix the plate back on. I ended up playing the next hand manually moving the rollers in the mouse with my fingers because I had a good hand the next deal. Not so easy using a mouse without the trackball. Go buy a new mouse though, mine never quite worked the same after the incident.

Keep something near by to throw, cheap clay poker chips are nice, cheap and they break. Makes you feel better [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Haven't needed them in two weeks luckily.

My CRT might as well be a bunching bag. Slapping the sides creates a loud noise which makes you feel as if your actually alleviating some stress. On the other hand, if you are extremely frustrated or just playing six max, the screen is hard as rock. I might break a hand, i don't know.

I have black streaks on my white walls from this little notepad that's in a leather case that gets launched frequently. I think it adds character to my room.
