He must not be very good to be beating those 75/150 stud games for only 1 bet/hour.

Not only that, but until we humans have been the dominant species on the planet for 60 million years, we will not have earned the right to use the word "dinosaur" as a pejorative.

Playing live you will not burn out as quickly as you would online, if at all. Especially multi-tabling, which does take a mental toll.

[ QUOTE ]
Playing live, the casino pro would notice tells and reads that the online pro would not be aware of and may be giving out himself.

[/ QUOTE ]
This is the main factor that the original poster left out of his equation. The ability to pick up on tells is a valuable skill in casino-poker, and one that a successful online player may well turn out to lack should he ever try to play in a B&M cardroom. In that case, he will probably find himself being trampled by the dinosaurs.

If the live player is a tyrannosaur, online guy doesn't stand a chance.

[/ QUOTE ]

Unless the online player is a giant gorilla.

Tells are pretty easily corrected. Thanks to Mike Caro, there's good literature on the subject.

After the initial adjustment period, the online player will do fine in a casino.

Some online player are from the gigantasauros family. The tyrannosaur players are gonna run in fear from them...

Quite frankly, though, I try not to play with players whose arms are too short to reach the table and who are likely to start literally consuming their fellow players. Plus, they are likely to kncck the table over and who needs that.

Some of you need to visit the B&M forum more and learn about just what a tyrannosaur can do!!

Also- word to Kurn, that's a very good point.
