Default HU, turn scare card. action?

I'm OOP, and he's vp$ip 70% after 25 hands.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 4 handed) converter

SB ($46.50)
Hero ($64.50)
UTG ($30)
Button ($71.25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG (poster) checks, Button calls $0.50, SB (poster) completes, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, UTG folds, Button calls $1.50, SB folds.

Flop: ($5) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, Button calls $4.

Turn: ($13) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: ($13) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $4</font>, Hero Folds
Final Pot: $17

25 hands doesn't mean much.
Assuming this is the typical pp donk I'd bet 10-12 on the turn.

Raise more PF. I would pot the flop and bet the turn (2/3 pot).

If he bets the river, I may call $4 to see what he has. Your hand samples aren't big enough to make a great judgement.

preflop, i would check and see the flop or raise more

on the turn, i'd fire again and check/fold the river if i get called.

i'd block the river with a $8 bet. it may get a low diamond to fold.

as played, i'd call the river...he could be betting absolutely anything since you checked to him twice.

Good post. I like leading this river too (Clark's theorem).

I would definitely bet the turn, about 2/3, so maybe $9 at the $13 pot, seems to work more often than it misses.
