jesus... playing limit really screwed up my NL game... .50/1 pstars

I'm in the middle of getting back into the swing of NL poker, and my game has been garbage so far. i'm making limit plays (which is obviously costing me) and being weak-tight. i used to win at this game, and i've been breaking even for a week (about 15 hours played- before anybody mentions sample size, i'll say that i should have been winning, as the cards have been pretty good). help.

checks to me, i check (mistake #1- i should've bet the pot), player behind me checks.

checks to me again, and i bet 1/2 pot: this was an incredibly ugly play on my part, i think.

all fold but UTG, who calls.

he checks, I, weak-tight limit chump that i've become, check behind.

beat, shmeat, of course i'm beat.

more to the point though, i think if i'd played it properly, A: I wouldn't have been beat, and B: even if i was, i would've/ could've won the pot.
