I think tou can safely fold the turn. The 3-bet didn't slow him down at all so he isn't afraid of a 10. I think you are up against A/10 K/10. 4/4 is also a possibility but less likely I think

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume brettbrettr only suggested raising the turn because of the title of your post.

Private Joker knows best. FWIW I don't really think 3-betting the flop was that bad of a play. I think you're ahead here fairly often.

Oh, yes, I should have paid more attention to the size of the pot. Flop fold is the play here.

I see myself folding the flop here no questions asked. The big blind saw the flop for free, bets, and now UTG+1 decides to raise? I think between the two of them, you are behind, and I don't think either opponent is folding here. You give no reason to back UTG+1 being overaggressive, so I think you have to believe one of the two players here.

Given that you 3-bet, you have to call the cap, but a fold on the turn is in order. When UTG+1 doesn't have a T, she'll have AA-88, 44 enough times to convince me to fold. I doubt she is capping the flop and leading the turn with A4s or a flush draw, and you've provided no reads for me to suspect otherwise.

I like a flop fold.

Who knows what BB has, but it could be a ten.

UTG+1 might hesitate to raise with trips, fearing he'll kill off his action, but we can't rule trips out. Also, we're only approximately a coin flip versus a flush draw with overs to our 7's, such as Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. And since the pot was so small to begin with, I don't feel the need to take a stand against that hand, when it's two bets to me on the flop.

i think this is a good leak to try to plug up in your game. 77 not hitting a set + a lot of resistance = fold (probably a flop fold) Folding the best hand in a small pot is a small mistake. Calling down with the worst hand is a big mistake.
