When to go for a coinflip?
I had managed to stay alive in this tournament despite a card drought up until this point.
And then I get AK and have to make a decision. That miniraise is super fishy and stinks of "I want action." I put him on A8+, 99-QQ (everybody seems to limp with AA and KK at 33) and some others. I think I am better than a coinflip but not much better and here's the question: Is this a pretty straight forward push back given my reads? I am not trying to back into the money & I have to make a move to accumulate chips. Does anybody fold this, does anybody flat call it or is the overpush to limit the pot (and possibly rely on the dope folding) the best/only play?
