Default Congrats to Matthew Hilger

2 years in a row, he has successfully navigated huge fields and placed in the money at the WSOP main event.

He's no Greg Raymer, but I doubt more than 75 people have made the money in each of the last 2 years.

Yes, he is coming out with another poker book. I did a search for one of his posts on his site where he mentions it so here it is:

Applying Odds in Hold'em: Limit, No-Limit, and Tournament Strategies is the title of my new book. It will be released in September/October...keeps getting longer Smile.

The book will address calculations for computing the odds for most Hold'em situations. There will be a very comprehensive set of charts with examples to show how the calculations were derived. If I don't hit a situation you would like, the book ought to give you the foundation to be able to calculate it yourself.

It will not talk about standard deviation stuff. If you are interested in more detailed stuff on bankroll management, I suggest Malmuth's Gambling Theory.

Matthew

Hm. Sounds disappointing. Thanks for the info though. First time I heard what the book would be about.
