I disagree that's it's weak, and with all due respect and without meaning to sound like a pompous jackass, you don't know how much I can afford, nor do you know what monetary worth I would attach to sound coaching.

Anyone charging below $100 an hour probably isnt very good, as good players can make much more than this playing.

You also said tommy is out of your price range and I assume his fees are about the same.

James282 and Joetall, at least a few months ago, charged less than $100 IIRC, and well, lets say they aren't bad. Its hard to play a lot of poker. Its easy to coach, even more so when you are real goot.

I know james isn't doing it any more.

I'll do it for $500 an hour if you really want. I'm not kidding or saying it's worth it, but if you are truly desperate I'll do it.

I've already had quotes for live coaching from four posters, each of whom I believe are respected on these forums and all of whom are winning shorthanded players at higher limits, for very reasonable hourly rates. Three others have offered to review set amounts of hand histories, provide general advice and an overall evaluation of my game and its strengths and weak points for a couple of hundred bucks.

Tommy's initial consultation costs $4,000.

Do you mind giving a range of how much you were quoted for live coaching? (no names necessary) I also looked into this and quickly dismissed the idea after seeing tommy angelo's prices (not that it's not worth it) PM me if you like

Thanks
