Re: Party 11 - Make this Call on the Bubble?
With the blinds that large, this has almost certainly got to be a good call. Villain's range is, well, any two I suppose. If the big stack behind you calls that would be a serious kick in the knickers, but he most likely won't. I think you're okay.
If the blinds are smaller (100-200, say) then I vote for folding reluctantly since villain's range will be narrower. |

Why will he most likely fold? The bet is less than a minraise and he's getting about 6-1 on the call and he has a huge stack. [/ QUOTE ] This is a good point. I am assuming a standard 10+1 villain, who is certainly not thinking "I'm getting 6-1 so I'd be crazy to fold." He/she is most likely thinking "Two all-ins! Man, I wish I had a good hand." Good point, though. Since your hand is fairly strong vs. a random hand, it may not matter if the big stack opens way up. If he calls with Q3, that wouldn't hurt you much would it? What do you think? |

What do you think? [/ QUOTE ] I would push to try to isolate the short stack. |
