mfl:

i do not use these unauthorized programs so i am not a good test subject. however, i do have my computer set up in this safer mode

windows supports multiple users but on personal machines we normally just have one default login with all the administrator rights. these rights allow programs installed to see the whole machine

if you do a fresh install of your operating system you can create accounts that are restricted. be certain to use the NTFS file format. use a restricted account to install all software for online poker. the windows help feature will explain creating users. apply all restrictions

be sure to log in to the new restricted account BEFORE any installations of poker sites. use windows explorer to restrict access even further for specific folders

this is not trivial but neither is it difficult. on a side note it also stops people from remotely scanning your computer to read your hole cards

[/ QUOTE ]

Would you take a moment and explain this. Is this possible with a computer that is free of malware? Would you not have had to down load an evil program that would open ports?

Keep in mind that party has other means of detection, like screenshots, and who knows what else. Since PT is allowed and datamining is allowed, the utility of poker prophecy is certainly marginal, while the risk associated with it is high. Just forget about using it and stick with standard methods.

Oberonn, are you named after my favorite beer?
