Default made my straight on the turn.

villain is 48/8 after about 65 hands. He's only shown down 26% of the time. I haven't tangled with him much.

PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises and is all in , MP calls, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (5 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP calls.

I try to win now vs weakman.

Turn: (3.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP raises, Hero calls.

ok card, bad action. That raise was unexpected, and I start to worry about a made flush here. My river plan is to check and call.

River: (7.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB

typically the river is a clarkmeister type bluff, but given the turn action I felt like it would be spewing. Do I hate money?

Fold preflop.

Re-raise the turn.

Bet the river.

This seems like a tough call... I think that once u call the raise on the turn you might as well call on the river as well... he could have raised with AK and then was hoping u didnt have the heart, i could understand a fold on the turn if u believed him about the flush, but personally i would have called on river.

villian's ag is .073, though I didn't look when I played the hand. Edited op to account for UTG

I'm not sure about preflop here. If UTG had a full stack I would definitely make the call but I'm not sure if he's all in helps or hurts us

it's only 1sb to call, and a short stack like that could mean any two. I don't get the problem with pf.

i Check/Call the flop,

villain is weaktight postflop and I wanted him out.

Turn is a tempting C/r but i bet the way you played it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can't c/r because

A)he has no reason to bet at me with a hand I beat unless he specifically was holding a K. I have no reason to believe this to be the case.

and

B)If he was waiting around for a flush to come in, I'll get threebet and have to spend an extra bet to showdown.

----

my real issue here is the river. Should I have boldly clarkmeistered here, or does turn action on a flush card sometimes dictate a different strategy?
