Here is my plan... Is it possible?

Hey all,

I don't post much, but I read alot here, and I really respect alot of you and your view on the game.

The game in question is No Limit Texas Hold'em $100 entry (.5/1 blinds), at UB (6 max). I have made a plan to earn $6000 in 3 months.

$500/wk. That's it. That's my goal.

My real question is, for a very good player, is this possible? Would a good player have to get real lucky?

I plan to play every day, 3-6 hours per day, at one table.

If I bring my A game, and really play my solid game, I think it should be possible. I just want to see what you all think.

Am I setting an unrealisic goal?

a great rate is 10 PTBB/hour per table.

so if you are playing 1 table, thats $20 an hour.

6 hours a day, $120 a day, sure $500 a week is doable.

Its possible but improbable as single table variance can be a bit high.

Pokertracker calculates big blinds a little differently, I'm ont sure how. If you multi-table, this should be easy. What are you buying/ saving up if you don't mind me asing?

A PTBB is a "poker tracker big bet". One PTBB is twice the big blind. So 10 PTBB is equal to 20 big blinds, which is $20 in a $0.50/$1 game.

What am I saving up for?

Well I lost $6000 over the past few months play $5/10 and $10/20 limit holdem (I was a complete fish and didnt read any books or learn anything, believe me, it was gross.)

anyhoo, my game is SO MUCH better now that I have turned a nice profit the last month and have only $6000 more to go. hoping to do this in 3 months at .5/1 NL.
