I think i'm folding here. You have a tight player raising UTG, and another tight player reraising an UTG raisor. I dont think you can put the SB on anything besides QQ+, AK, maybe JJ. You're about 40% against that range. I'm passing on this and looking for a better spot.

I'd fold. When you have defined reads like this, you have to respect your read. Fold, watch UTG push with QQ, SB, call with KK, and throw up when the flop comes AAA. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

why are you trying to squeeze with AKs? this doesn't look to be even close to the right time for a squeeze play, i would wait for cards you can get away from (don't try to squeeze with premium hands) and opponents that enter more pots and could have a wider range.

Youre right; "classic squeeze" wasnt the right term.

A little more color on UTG - he had folded to reraises at least twice before. Villan 2 appeared perceptive, and had probably picked up on this.

I am not doubting that the both have hands. But I could very easily be against AQs and TT here.

"Very easily" doesnt seem like the right term either. I think "best case scenario" is more like it. You can just as easily be up against AA and KK. But at least you can still hit a flush, right? Folding here has to be the right play.

i know it's not that simple because utg may fold, but you get my point.

if the original raiser were not utg i owuld be much more inclined to play here. i'd fold.

The only way for a squeeze play to work is this:

You have a read on both players, and you suspect that they are both playing weaker hands than they are expected to have in this sort of situation.

Harrington had a classic example...Greg Raymer came over the top of another player in the 2004 WSOP, he knew they were two loose players and he popped them with a big re-raise that would commit Harrington to the pot. They both folded their hands, with Raymer raising with A3s.

Two tight players..Fold.
