Default 3% savings account, anyone used this bank?

Saw this ad on yahoo, link

Has anyone had any experience with this bank (Emigrant Savings Bank)? Their savings accounts are paying 3%. I was planning to open an ING account, which was the next highest rate i have seen around 2.38%. Also paypal is paying about 2.45% or so (but i don't trust paypal with my money).

I predict an interest rate war between banks in the coming year, so maybe i should wait and see?

I'm thinking the Fed will raise the prime rate very soon, which will mean higher interest rates on savings and money-market accounts.

I have an account with ING & Emigrant. No problem with either. For ING, If you use fatwallet.com you can get $10 from them plus there are signup codes for $25 or $50. Do a search for them in the forums of fatwallet.com or slickdeals.com.

I was also looking at this website. I have several student loan checks. Now I'll have to pay the majority of the loans back, but since I will be sitting with a couple grand to hold on to for many months, I might as well try to get some small percentage in interest.

I was debating a good money market account to but I was unsure which bank/company to use.

I have an ING account and it's great. The referral deal is $10 for the referrer and $25 for the referree.

If anyone is interested, PM me.

I'm guessing not since Neteller needs to be linked to savings account.
