Default $10 20man Party Poker - AK

What's your analysis of this hand? I put the guy on 99, 1010, or JJ. Something like that. If that's the case, that makes me about a 51% favorite. Is this fold still correct? He smooth called the preflop bet pretty fast and seemed relatively solid. Not crazy and not super great.

Hi

Given your read this is a bad fold. If you think you are even money to win then why fold getting almost two to one. I call.

Yeah, that's a great point. I guess I played like a weaktightpussy in part because I seem to be losing a lot of coinflips. I know better than to play results oriented idiot poker too.

The small bet leading out the flop was way too suspicious with all the draws on the board. I would have checked this flop. A continuation bet is too expensive to be effective.

So is it a check/fold or a check/raise all in? I can't imagine calling is ever right in this situation. I prefer to lead out in some fashion as checking doesn't define the hands in any way.
