Default Whats the probabilty of floping a suited board?

More specifically if you hold two of one suit what is the chance of hitting at least 2 of that suit on the flop.

4*(13 choose 3)/(52 choose 3)= 0.0517

Let’s say you hold 2 hearts. Then there are 50 cards left and 11 are hearts.

Flopping three hearts:
We compare the number of ways to choose three cards from the remaining hearts to the number of ways to choose three cards from the remainder of the deck.
C(11 3) / C(50, 3) = 165/19600 = 0.8%

Flopping two hearts:
There are C(11, 2) ways to choose two hearts and 39 choices for the non heart.
C(11, 2)*39 / C(52, 3) = (55*39) / 19600 = 10.9%

Yeah, looks like it. If you assume you have 2 hearts in your hand already, the correct calculation uses 50.

Yes just a typo. It should have read C(50, 3), which is indeed 19600.
