Default First trip to AC. Best low-mid limit games?

I have my first trip to AC coming up next weekend. We're staying at the Borgata, and I was wondering where the best (softest) low-mid limit games were. Anything up to $10-$20 is fine.

Thanks.

Borgata has very soft games at the 6-12 and 10-20 levels going 24-7. You will find plenty of action and opulent surroundings there (as well as bottled beer and hot waitresses).

Since this is your first trip, you'll also want to check out the Taj Mahal (about 10 mins away). They have very soft 10-20 games also (5-10 too) and it's a big room that every player should check out. Tropicana has a clubby feel and spreads 4-8, 7.50-15 (pink game) and (I believe) 10-20. It also has "The Quarter," a very cool, Vegas-like attraction with awesome restaurants, nightlife and shopping in a themed setting...very cool.

Thanks dude.

$7.50-$15? That's weird. Why not just spread $8-$16 with $2 chips?

Because they use all pink $2.50 blackjack chips. It's a gimmick game that usually has alot of action (I haven't played it in awhile though). I'll be at Taj or Borg this weekend playing 40-80 I think.

The Trop $4-8 & $7.50 (pink chip) are both good , Caesar's (new room) $3-6 is good but has lots of rocks, House of Blues (Showboat) $2-4 & $3-6 is filled with a lot of inexperienced players (calling raises pre-flop with anything), Borgata $3-6 can be really good on the weekends and late hours (super-crowded though), plenty of college-aged guys who watch ESPN.
The Taj is good for sheer # of games & short wait times, but the place is kinda lame in the daytime (filled with retirees/rocks). Lots of railbirds/watchers, and so-called "experts" analyzing every hand. I find it kind of annoying after a while.

I've also heard the $3-6 games at Harrah's are super-easy too. I haven't played at Bally's in years, or the Sands.
If I had to pick one game out of these, it would probably be the Trop $4-8.

I just had my first weekend in AC and played at Taj and Borgata. I found the atmosphere at Borgata to be absolutely excellent and the 2/4 game to be easy (as it should be). They didn't have many tables though and I had to wait about 20 minutes even though I was 2nd on the list. Tables are comfortable with adjustable task chairs. The chips are rather slippery, but they have some slight magnetism to keep them together. Makes doing chiptricks difficult if you like that. They've got a computerized list and staff is very friendly. they even signed me up for a card and brought it to me once seated.

Taj Mahal 3/6 was probably the easiest game I've ever played in my limited casino playing experience (about 15 sessions at 10 casinos in Vegas). The flip side is the atmosphere. This place is an absolute dump! The tables are filthy, chairs are a little too high for my taste, and their chips stick together with something other than magnets. Be sure to wash BEFORE and after going to the toilet Noise level was loud from the brush calling out players over the PA. Getting on the list can be somewhat tough as well. You gotta fight to the front of all the people peering over the desk to see how much longer. I never got a comp card as you had to stand in line for that as well. It looked like 30+ minutes so I said forget that.

Sunday morning around 9am I wandered over to Caesar's Palace, but only saw 2 games going 2/4 limit and 1/2 NL. 30 minutes later I was back at the Taj and they had about five 2/4 and 3/6 games going, so that'll be a good fallback for your Sunday morning action.

House of blues was advertising as well as Resorts. Wild West (or whatever that is between Bally's and Caesar's). Trump Plaza doesn't, but management said they're going to build one.

The only casinos without poker rooms are ;
Trump Marina, Claridge, Trump Plaza, and the Hilton.
I've heard that the Hilton is planning on opening a room though.

I've also heard that Borgata is planning on expanding to about 80+ tables, anyone know any info on this ?
