What are his stats?

This is really weak tight especially against a likely button steal. You gotta give this flop a bet an go from there.

Default Opponents stats

VP$IP 22%
PreFlop raise 8%
Post plop AF 4

I agree that I should have bet out after the flop. I had just had a bad beat and was gunshy. Thanks for all the input

Definitely especially with a guy that has a VPIP that high and an aggression factor that high. This guy is betting/raising light all the time.

I'm sorry. What are his stats? I don't remember what SLPA means. Is there anything wrong here with taking the betting lead, and folding to a raise? 99, TT, JJ, QQ, KK call you down, and AA, AQ, AJ, AK raise, right?

99,TT,JJ,QQ,KK, (25)
18 times you get paid off, six times you lose, one time you split. (11*18)+(5*6)+(5.5*1)
162

AK(12), AQ(6), AA(3), AJ(12), (33)
33*-1

units are in SB

So over 195 hands, this method wins you 129 sb, for an average profit of 1.51 sb per hand.

I didn't take into account any drawouts because your 2 outers roughly cancel out his 2 outers

I think SLPA means, that he's "slightly loose" (around 30% vpip), passive preflop and aggressive afterwards?

Correct me if Im wrong but that's how it is with my ratings.

I dont think it matters that much, you cant check on the flop, you have to bet. The A might help you if he doesnt have one. (if helping you means he's going to fold)

That sounds right, but I don't pay that much attention. I just look at the HUD numbers, and sometimes open up opponents window to see how often they fold to flop bets compared to turn bets or how their turn aggression compares to their flop aggression, etc.

***grunch***

Bet out on the flop.

If he raises, I'd probably call, then check/call the turn and river, depending on what comes out. May be spewing, but I think you're giving a blind stealer far too much credit.

c/f'ing is pretty bad here. There are 7sb's in the pot on the flop, and it only costs you 1sb to "test" your hands strength. He's on a steal so his range is fairly big, he'll have a lot of non-ace hands and you can certainly get him to drop his hand more times than 1 in 7.
