Re: what is royale holdem?
It's a pain in the ass, that's what it is.
From my brief stay at the royal holdem table just a few minutes, it seems to be a form of Texas holdem using only the 10's, J's, Q's, K's, and Aces. |

Re: what is royale holdem?
French holdem. You will get at least a straight every hand. Recommended strategy is to buy in for the max and play 100% vpip 100% pfr.

Re: what is royale holdem?
Suited means nothing.
Tens are equivilent to deuces. Don't bet the river when the board is a straight unless you enjoy paying rake. Two outers on the turn are 2/14 or 1 in 7 or 14.4% to hit the river. Flopping a straight is worse than in Omaha. If you can't figure out why you should raise the turn with a board of AKQJ and AA in the hole... Fun to watch people who think it is normal Holdem. |
