back to back royal flushes!
This was the most amazing thing ive ever seen at a card table.
playing a $500 freeroll on UB, midway through tournament the man to my right rivers a royal flush in diamonds to eliminate an opponent, next hand the same man flops a royal flush in diamonds but doesnt get paid off. So my question is 1) what are the odds of getting a royal flush back to back hands including one of those being flopped? 2) What are the odds of having back to back royal flushes by the river? 3) Same as #1 but what are the odds of it being the same suit? Please explain the math as you write too. |

Re: back to back royal flushes!
It's 50-50 right? Either it happens or it doesn't.
Didn't think we'd see a back to back royal flush thread again so soon. I bet that guy wanted to punch himself for having a once in a lifetime event happen in a freeroll. |

shieeet, that man should buy a lottery ticket ASAP [/ QUOTE ] chances of hitting back to back royals, then buying a lottery ticket that wins big: at least 200 trillion to 1. he should save his dollar (unless said lottery is paying the winner at least 200 trillion dollars). cheers! |

Re: back to back royal flushes!
I say the chances that the OP is either lying, or didn't see what he thought he saw is much more likely than 80,411,822,400 to 1
