Default Playing Without Sleep... Terribly Played... KJo at Stars $5.50

I'm tired... But I can't sleep... So why not play some Stars $5.5 SNGs? Looking over this I think I played it really badly... Or am I so tired that my good play looks horrible (not likely)... What should I have done when?

I probably bet slightly less on the turn, and then toss out a 1/2-pot blocking bet on the river. I dunno, I kinda suck at postflop these days.

Bet the pot on the flop and push on the turn. People are less likely to chase flush draws on the turn for all their chips, even donks.

edit: whoops missed your stack size. Hmm. I would still bet very hard on the turn and a)possibly fold to a reraise all-in on the turn or if he calls b) check-call the river.

I fold this preflop, and yes, I know you're the SB.

If I'm caught alive with that hand and that flop, I bet the pot immediately.

I guess with the K turn you had to feel you had a good hand, but Button's 220 call on the turn should've put sirens in your head, at least it would in mine.

Sirens+scary river = I unfortunately check the river, or bet smaller (just not to check), so as to not dump 500 into a hand with an obvious flush and straight on the board.

This hand represents exactly why a hand like KJo should not be played out of position.

I don't like the idea of folding this preflop getting good odds with a hand that can flop big. It's your decision, but I complete with this hand with deep stacks.
