As an intermediate player who regularly plays against other beginning and intermediate player, I find his commentary useful. It reinforces betting fundamentals, basic tells, and helps me figure out how bad players play and how to play against them. I won't go out of my way to watch it, but when I do I think Phil is the best part of the show.
