Girl-girl action is a lot more socially acceptable (and often encouraged) than guy-guy action. That plays a big part in whether or not a girl or guy will be bi-curious. In all things, people are more willing to be curious and try something if they know others are doing it and it is "okay".

If something could fall out of the sky and hit this doofus on the head, I still don't think he'd get it - SHE IS NOT AT ALL BI-CURIOUS.
