Default 99 out of position

15/30 Tourney Texas Hold'em Game Table (NL) (Tournament 18082189)

Pre-flop raiser and the guy to my left clashed for all their chips with on an A high flop. pf raiser having raised AT and the guy to my left having AQ. It ended up being a split.
Otherwise, I am new to the table and haven't seen much.

Dealt to Hero: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

2 folds,

MANUELLEPR raises (75) to 75

1 fold
Hero calls (75)
diosallin calls (75)
cmoneypusher calls (75)
Everybody else folds

Flop 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (t335)

MANUELLEPR checks.
Hero checks.
diosallin checks.
cmoneypusher bets (250)
MANUELLEPR folds.

Ok, the pre-flop raiser wasn't trapping and I think I'm well ahead of what the CO bets with here. Problem is, there is still one to act.

Folding felt weak tight, pushing reckless.

Thoughts?

Thanks-

I'll give it a shot.

I probably checkcall. If dios overcalls, I might think about ditching the hand. I'll reevaluate on turn. Hands that you're behind are TT-QQ and a cleverly played Kx. I think 88 does not bet for sure. Lots of hands will bet that flop that you're ahead of, including 22-77, nothing, and maybe even 78, 68, or 8T (after all, he has position, good odds, and those would be deceptive holdings). I'd checkcall flop, then check turn. If he has overcards, I'll let him draw to 6 outs twice. Basically, you're ahead of most of the hands in your opponents range.
