AA at a B+M
No real read on Villain except that he likes to play a lot of hands, he sat down recently and hadn't shown down anything yet. I don't remember the details exactly, but here's the main idea:
This is 1/2 NL with deep-ish stacks, it's playing much more like a higher no-limit game. I'm dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in LP. A couple limpers, I make it 17 with ~$500 behind. SB (Villain with ~$300 behind) calls, and the three limpers call. Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain bets out $20, limpers fold, I raise to $60 and Villain thinks for a moment and then calls. At this point I can't really put the Villain on anything and I didn't have a plan for the hand... So... Turn: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain checks, I bet $50, he calls relatively quickly. River 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain checks, I bet $50, he calls again. Re: AA at a B+M
Looks standard up until the turn and river, whats with the weak bets?
You want to be extracting more here from hands like j's, 10's, 9's, 8's, possibly missed AK? etc |

What was the outcome? What did he show?

Re: AA at a B+M
When the big raise doesn't come on the turn, I am more comfortable making a sizeable bet on the river. Make it 100 here and get extra value from overpairs to the board and underpairs to you.

Re: AA at a B+M
Yeah, the hand was just really confusing, he tabled 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the flopped trips. I have no idea why he couldn't find a raise on the turn. As it turned out, I guess I lost less money than I could have.

Re: AA at a B+M
If this game is anything like my local casino's $1/$2 NL game, a raise of $17 after two limpers is only going to get you called in several places. I think you absolutely have to make it a bigger preflop raise to lose the weak limp/callers.
