Michael Davis told me that the last time he was in Vegas, he just hung around the major casinos at 5am or so, and they came right up to him. I can confirm this. I had been playing at the Mirage and quit around 4:30 or so. I was staying at the Aladdin and I cut back through Caesar's because it was hot and muggy out.

Somewhere around one of those giant slot machines I realized there was a woman walking about ten feet behind me and I started to suspect she was following me. I tried to pull some spy-movie manouever to get a better look at her, but she must have noticed. She started making little clicking noises, trying to get me to look at her again. Kind of like those guys on the strip slapping the fliers to try and trick you into making eye contact.

Anyway, she was about as far from hot as a woman can get without actually being a man (although, now that I think about, I have no real evidence it actually was a woman...), so that may account for the desperation. She followed me all the way through Caesar's and down the strip for another block before I cut across the road to discourage pursuit.

So, back to the OP's question: hot hookers do _not_ hang out in Caesar's by the giant slot machines at 5 in the morning. But desperate ones do.

One time my wife and I sat there to have a drink while deciding what to do at about 12:30 am.
