Default Is This Collusion and Justification for Total Confiscation?

Hello 2 + 2 ers

I have been accused of collusion by a popular online casino, which is threatening to confiscate all of my money on the site. They are saying that they have strong reason to believe that my account and another account are being used by the same player or multiple players working very closely together. Basically, my friend who plays around 12 hours a day, every day would bust out and very occassionaly, use my account. This seems to be an obvious, perverted definition of collusion to me. Was looking for some opinions here of people who have gone through this or have knowledge on this. Thank you.

1) You tried to scam
2) You got caught
3) Now you're gonna pay (and deserve to)

If there really was no collusion, as in you two NEVER sat at the same table, and the only reason they found out was because he would play, logoff, and then login on your account from the same IP address, then you should call/email them and explain that, and promise to change your password and never let him play your account again.

If this is really all it was, then it's not collusion, but usually there is more to these stories.

Shouldnt you be saying "we" and "our"?

If it really was you and your buddy, you probably wouldn't say "I".

I think you were cheating and got caught, and you deserve it.

They wouldn't be threatening your money over having two accounts or innocent account sharing. Duplicate accounts get closed or consolidated, not confiscated. All sorts of misdemeanors get warnings. Minor cheating like illegal software may eventually get your account closed with return of funds if you keep doing it.

Confiscation of funds is for real crimes: organized collusion, money laundering, credit-card fraud, etc. You are in big trouble.

Do I need to mention that you have been a fool for sharing your account?

You do not know that your friend did not use your account for collusion. The site may be exactly right about this. Your negligence and failure to follow the rules may have allowed innocent players to be cheated.
