Default A Quick Preflop Question

Party 30-60 5 handed

All opponents are around the 40-50 VPIP / 20-30 PFR range, and they all play horribly postflop

UTG raises, Button 3-bets, SB caps, I'm in the BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Call or Fold?

SH, capped to you 4 way action with 4 bad players. I would call this spot getting 4:1 for my money (since UTG and Button are not likely folding their hands) and re-evaluate on the flop.

40-50 vpip and 20-30 pfr is quite high for a 5 handed game, I can see the players being on sub-par hands like A6s-ATs, 33-TT, and QJs-KQo to list a few.

If they're all terrible you have to call. Even if one player has you dominated, 4:1 effective odds should be good enough to see the flop with.

If you don't call, you should leave the table. Seriously.

I would call also, but it's not a ridiculous question.

If I were you, *shudder*, I'd call, keep raising until the end. If you lose you can always steal some more bikes.
