One for the Devil
After the freeroll thread the other day, I decided to give the PP freeroll a shot. On my third try, this happened:
I'm not really much of a NL or tourny player, so how did I do it? By getting hugely lucky, of course! Not exactly the WSOP ME, but a nice win for a low-limit recreational player. I don't know how you people (tournament players) do it. The play was EXCRUCIATINGLY slow. Just before the money, people stalled to the point that it took minutes to play a hand. A field of 2000 took >5 hours to go through. I'm dead tired, but happy. Just felt like sharing.... |

Re: One for the Devil
Congratulations! I never even thought to play in those before. Maybe I'll check out the ones later today.

Re: One for the Devil
Awesome job. 5 hours does not seem too out of the norm for a field of 2,000.
Congrats. |

Re: One for the Devil
I played a $10/1 on Empire the other day.
80 entries, 67 rebuys, 35 add-ons. 5 hrs and 41 mins until I busted out 4th. |
