Especially for the hands you normally don't play.

53s shows up as my 4th best hand, but I've had 3 huge pots that I've won with it, and never play it otherwise really.

Excellent points.

My one observation however is that you don't mention position once (except that position is a prereq for apply the 5 and 10 rule).

If people are automatically playing SCs from MP/EP then they are probably pissing away money, but if the stacks are deep enough I think it is a minor error at the most.

Many over-value SCs. But when I review hands/sessions where I have lost some big pots with them I noticed three things: (1) I'm playing to loose in EP (2) I'm playing too tight in LP (3) And, most importantly, I am playing like a doink (term of art) after the flop.

My current belief is that once the stacks are 100xBB+ nothing really that interesting happens preflop in position. OOP, starting hands can be debated a bit but beyond the obvious any leaks here are going to be minor if you play well after flop. JMO.

Why not just check your PT nos and see if they are +EV from various positions?

If you are making money with them then keep playing em
