Default Rake evaluation for Short Handed Games

I’ve decided to post this since its some useful information on how different sites collect rake. I’ve taken the stats from my PT rake collected / hands played and *100. All samples have over 1k hands. (I’m about 25/15, as the amount of rake paid varies with how tight/loose you play)

Party 3/6 6max

$13.73/100 hands
-2.29BB/100
27% rakeback adds 0.62BB/100 to your winrate

Poker Room (Poker Network) 3/6 5max

$22.45/100 Hands
-3.74BB/100
27% rakeback adds 1.01BB/100 to your winrate

Meaning that if you’re a 1.5BB/100 winner at Party 3/6, you’ll be breaking even at PokerRoom (maybe marginally winning since the players seem worse at PR).

Poker Room 2/4 5max

$13.46/100 hands
-3.36BB/100
27% rakeback adds 0.91BB/100 to your winrate

Prima 2/4 6max

$8.38/100 hands
-2.09BB/100
35% rakeback adds 0.73BB/100 to your winrate

Absolute 2/4 6max

$12.00/100 hands
-3.00BB/100
25% rakeback adds 0.75BB/100 to your winrate

I don’t have a big enough sample size for Cryptologic Network. If anyone has the data please post it.

All samples have over 1k hands.

That's really not enough. The amount of rake you play on average converges fairly slowly.
