Assuming the reraiser has AA, I have six nut outs. Kings, Queens and Jacks are only good against naked AA, and I don't know what the other player has. Was this a bad push? [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] A bad call preflop?

I think this is a fold to the re-reraise preflop against what is most certainly AA, unless you are certain that UTG+2 is also going to call as you are probably about 35% vs. the aces. Post-flop I think you have odds to push.

Although that is about a good of a hand with KK as you can get, it is better not to put in a full reraise preflop with it, although a min reraise being prepared to just call another reraise might be OK with deep stacks to get it headsup and hopefully get rid of any straglers with a nut flush draw in one of your suits that the main villain might not have. But in general, you should just call.

As it was played, you should have folded even that quality KK hand to the reraise, as you are getting too much of your stack in preflop against 1 opponent. In fact if you are going to call that reraise knowing you are a dog to AA, then you might as well have set yourself in so as to see all 5 board cards, although that is just gambling. Again as to how it was played, if the pot was smaller, then betting out representing a set or top 2 could get tighter opponents to fold AA when there sidecards don't hit that board. But most players with that much of their stack invested are just going to see it through and you really don't have much fold equity.

At those higher tables I get players all the time trying to push me off AA by betting in front of me like that, and unless I am againt a total rock my response is just to call allin or reraise allin to defeat that strategy when the board is not such that I can be totally drawing dead if they really have hit the board.
