Default Limping with marginal hands (no hand)

Whats up everyone, 1st of all I wanna take this time to thank 2+2 for upping my 6max game, or rather teaching me completely. The starting charts have been invaluable. That being said there is pretty much a raise or fold tone to it and hands like jto, qj and kto, k9s k4s etc are usually folded with any limpers involved. Since 6-max is still poker, and limping with these hands in full ring is advocated in many books, Im wondering if its profitable to be limping in with these hands on the button, and if so why the charts say otherwise. Hands below k8s are completely disregarded, can they also be played? Thanks for all your help in makin me a better player.
