Re: KQs....
[ QUOTE ]
If I'm missing any value preflop by not 3betting, I think I can make it up post flop. [/ QUOTE ] Awful. |

Re: KQs....
No one has mentioned the flop call. You have about 6-7 outs IF they are all clean. If your dominated/reverse dominated that falls down to 3-4 which makes the flop call bad.

[/ QUOTE ] When I'm not concentrating/playing too many tables, I will be folding these flops, which is a HUGE error here. With 1.5 outs to backdoor straight, 1.5 to backdoor 2nd nut flush, plus 2 overs probably valued around 3 outs total, this is an easy flop call with ~6 outs. |

Re: KQs....
If you don't count your overs as clean you can't count you backdoor straight fully either.
I don't think KQs is an automatic 3-bet of an UTG raise, but against this guy it is. |

Re: KQs....
I'd also call preflop. The rest of the hand I like too, the turn bet out or check/raise is close. I think it depends on whether you think villain
-will bet PPs under JJ on the turn? (I think yes) -will bet a broadway gutshot on the turn? (probably not, maybe AK/AT?) -draw to a broadway gutshot on the turn when you bet (probably yes) |
