Bad River Call with Trip Js

The river call was probably bad, but I think I was steaming a little because I had just lost a very big hand on the river before this. How's the turn?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises, 4 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, MP3 calls, CO folds, BB calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP3 raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

River: (16.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 19.25 BB

Never fold to one bet on the river in a huge pot. You're fine calling it down.

This is pretty bad. I'd say calling this river is close to a full BB mistake.

Who check/raise bluffs the 4th diamond against two other players? Against a maniac (or two, I should say) I could call. Here - I don't think so.

Let's do some basic hand reading. What range of hands will a typical player check-3bet on the turn?

I guess I can see how folding is right in this situation, but I think if this situation ever came up, I'd risk the 1 bet and make the crying call. That's probably why I suck at poker =(.

sure Hero MAY win this 1/17...i think this is the remaining 16/17 of those times. why waste your money?

I'm not even sure I win 1/17 of these.

I made the call because I was steaming from a big prior hand and I knew I was about to lose with 3 Jacks. The thought of this being the 1 in 50 times the 3 Jacks wins here would have caused me to jump out my window. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] So I made an emotional and poor call. I was really more interested in the turn play of the hand.

You are verifying my thoughts. It knew it was a bad/emotional call on the river. I lost "it".

Was the turn OK?
