Why can't I get 1st place? (Bubble HH Enclosed)

Would anyone look this over and let me know if there's anything glaringly bad about my play? I've been running pretty cold the last few days and today in particular (34 SNGs, 1-5-7 ITM distribution, 11 4th-6th, 38.24% ITM, -9.09% ROI) -- only 1 first place and lots of third places.

Party $10+1, just became chip leader after knocking out 5th place with AA v missed flush draw. The table seemed to be full of passive folk except Gerhard2, who I felt played very well on the bubble and could be a 2+2er. Both of us were stealing the blinds very often and in the past few orbits the two of us had won almost every pot.

Strange side note: I had a feeling that Gerhard2 was 2+2, knew I was 2+2, and knew that I knew he was 2+2. He sat directly to my right but always folded his SB to me as if he knew that I knew he should be pushing any 2 and that I would be calling with better than average hands. Or maybe he just caught cards at the right time and caught trash at the right time.

Ok, so here we go. When the blinds got big, I basically tried to bully both short stacks in a game of two-card chicken. They were both passive and were trying to wait each other out.

Did I make any big mistakes or did I just get lucky/unlucky?
I just looked it over and felt as if I played it fine, except I should've called the 97o hand.

Freudian: I pushed from the SB, BB was the only one left to act and he had 7 BB.

I've actually played 526 SNGs now at the $10+1s, with a 40.11% ITM and 12.7% ROI. Finish distribution is 53/71/87, or 10.1%/13.5%/15.6%.

Maybe it's variance, maybe there's a problem with my play. I want to find out.

If I'm reading it right, you're in the BB and have a big stack and pot odds to call his all-in (t600 more for a t1350 pot). Your hand is not that bad, I'd probably call here.

Otherwise, I liked your play. You ran into a few bigger hands, but you had some nice suckouts too (the QT vs. KK hand).
