I don't follow why this has to be true.

More important to me here is how loose these players are and getting a slight discount. Sure position is bad but a good player is going to treat a bad pair of 9s or 3s correctly and you should tend to loose alittle or win a lot in this particular situaton with this cast of foes.

Either way I'm curious.

i dont agree with the theory that you should only complete int he SB if you would have limped on the button. i think thats a really bad philosophy.

fairly easy complete imo. the other 2 hands are raise and raise.

Didn't you read Tommy's post in the other thread? Four options: 1) good hand, good position; 2) good hand, bad position; 3) bad hand, good position; 4) bad hand, bad position.

There are good reasons to support playing options 1, 2 and 3.

The playing zone in the SB is real small and doesn't include 93, IMO. Make Nate run a sim or something.

Tommy folds. Clark calls. Dynasty does some, doesn't the other. Yup.

Definite fold. If the opponents were overly tight, you could try to make an argument for completing since we have stealing equity postflop, but against these clowns we can't win without making a hand and it's pretty hard to make a hand when one of your cards is a nine an the other is a three. I wouldn't really call this against anyone anyway though, especially online where you are basically playing in the dark for the rest of the hand with no reads.

5-10 6 max on party. hero is in the sb w/ 9c3c. cutoff and button limp. they are both like (vp$p/pfr%/aa) 40/8/1. bb is like 60/2/1.30.

blinds are 2 and 5. should hero complete $3 in the sb w/ 93c or fold?

[/ QUOTE ]

This hand sucks for 3/5's a bet out of position against three opponents, even fishy limpers. I don't understand why are you even thinking about calling here.

Just in case you think I'm being anal get it through your newly styled head that it's OK to be aggressive first to act in a short game but not out of position against players who have already acted when you have sh-t.

BTW, if we have another 20/40 holdem "Live at Bike" can I reserve a seat for you so all your fans here can watch you in action? Just so you know what the game is like check out the thread in the TV forum. And if I reserve a seat, will you at least wear a half decent t-shirt that actually fits you?

Best regards,

Rick

Call. I can't believe that you actually looked at your cards. BIG MISTAKE.

I think it's kindof funny how everyone has pretty much been saying "easy call" or "easy fold" but in reality in the long run it's going to be about the same either way...
