One of the adaptations i'm having to make at 10/20 6-max is that I'm actually having to fold to turn raises again. Its been a while...

[/ QUOTE ]
Really? I make the exact opposite adaption.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep. If you're folding to more turn check/raises in 10/20 than in 5/10, something is seriously wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok thanks I will have to re-re-adapt.

I've only got 1000 hands at 10/20, so that must be the problem. However, in those 1k hands, most of the time a LAG has turn check-raised me, he has had the goods.

I definately find that at 5/10 there are alot of bluff turn check-raises.

I also have a very small number of hands at that level, under 2K (and I only play if an über fish is present), but during those hands I've seen some crazy stuff (like capping the turn with J5o with no connection to the board) that I never see at 5/10. At some tables it seems the turn gets raised 2 out of 3 hands. Folding too much can get very expensive.

I see that kinda stuff at 5/10 also. However, I just had a session of 10/20 where a couple of players were getting out of line like this.... definately player dependant etc. I just hadnt come across it at 10/20 untill now.

Top, your table selection kicks major ass. Every table I go to sit at you are already there.

You always seem to get up as soon as I sit down though

Am I always taking the seat of the supposed person I am joining the table to meet?

You should be able to guess my name there. We had a crazy hand last night where you folded to a 3bet after c/r' me.

PF was capped, JJ4 on the flop flop was capped I believe...Turn was a King, you check, I bet, you raise, I 3bet you fold.

Thats what I remember from it, I'll post it in like an hour.

On party 10/20 I have 400000 datamined hands with a vpip of 40.2 and 5.6 as average players/hand so your 38 sounds reasonble.

OK my recollection of the hand was not even close to what it turned out to be. I totally bothced it. But my original comment still stands, your game selection rocks.
