I've noticed that I'm ridiculously passive from the bb after the sb completes, but is this a standard pf raise from you?

As for the rest of the hand, I don't know how to begin to analyze this against someone you've only seen for 2 orbits. In 5/10 land, I know that many, many people will take this line with Ax, not to mention virtually anything else. So, I'd rather give the hand up. But I don't know how things work in 10/20 ville.

I'm not sure either.

You have to figure an Ace would raise you preflop, so you aren't worried so much of Ace high beating you. You'd think he would raise a 9 on the flop or turn, but he didn't. A turned 6 would make sense if he called the flop with 65 or T6 or 86, but using that logic he could be calling the flop with JT or J8. However, this is only the 2nd orbit so villian could have anything here. When the dust settles your hand is still only K high and probably not worth a call, but a call isn't hugely sucky.

I normally like betting turn better, but maybe you had a good reason. If you check turn I guess you have to call river.

The turn and river don't jibe. Either bet the turn or check the turn and fold to a river bet. Don't check the turn and call a river bet.

[I'd bet the turn]

Bet the turn, a lot of people will call the flop with 2 overs or some gutshot.

At worst if he raises then at least you have position on him with your flush so when you hit you will usually gain an extra bet.

Getting 4-1 I think calling river might be EV+. He could have a busted flushdraw, or overcards like JT, QJ or you might split with a hand like K5. Basically he could play lots of hands exactly like that, peeling on a flop unlikely to have hit you and bluffing at river after you show weakness with a turn check.

You thought your K-high was likely best, but you chose to give him a free card--I don't get it.

Of all the hands you play preflop and the flop this way against a small blind completer, this is not one of the ones to check the turn.

Betting the turn is standard for me but I can sometimes get a vibe that has me play it this way and I think it's fine.
