Default Help me find a good cigar.....

...that i can afford a box of while not paying hundreds of dollars. There is a Cohiba store nearby, so I can get almost any kind. I am a total cigar noob, so I also have a question about lighting: do i have to use a wooden match to get the most flavor? or can i use a lighter or crappy matches?

using a match doesnt get you any more flavor, it just prevents getting the taste of the lighter fluid in your mouth

A butane lighter is fine though, and unlike a match the flame will last long enough to light your cigar.

I prefer to use wood matches, but a butane lighter(using triple refined butane) is ok as well. Stay away from cheapo lighters as you will taste a lot of the impurities from the flame. If you use a wood match, make sure to let the sulphur burn off before lighting the cigar.

Many cigar purists also use cedar strips. Personally, wood matches are fine for me.

My favorite brand of cigars is Arturo Fuente. I would highly recommend the 858s and Sun Growns. Both generally cost $4-5/ea and are very well constructed.

Personally, I would not smoke anything by Drew Estate. They're mostly a flavored gimmick brand. They do have some unflavored smoked, but I think there are much better smokes for the price.

I'm somewhat of a cigar noob also, but the guy at the small store by my house is pretty helpful.

These are the ones I like the most so far.
