Given the action, the other guy either has pocket Aces or brain damage. Maybe he has the other two Kings down, but that seems unlikely. Turns out he's a monkey, but you didn't have any read at the time. I'd check and fold fifth.

Am I the only one that would fold and not play 4KK in a Stud/8 game?

Yeah, like I said, no reads. I botched it but was lucky that my opponent sucked.

It's not worth trying to get headsup with someone with 9 showing?

I agree (4K)K is usually a fold, but in this case a raise is clearly in order to get heads up against what appears to be a lower pair. When you get re-raised, you can put him on a very limited range of holdings including (AA)9 and the unlikely (KK)9 or (99)9, and can play accordingly. This is essentially a Stud Hi hand.

Not really, since if a reasonable player has a nine up and is playing they have,

AA9
999
789s
and possibly
9A9

Nothing that a pair of kings is in good shape against.

Some questions about the system: (1)When it says "post extras", what is this about? Also, (2)How do you quote sombody on your post?

Ok, given an unknown player in 10/20 on party, rather than a reasonable player, is it worth playing the KK?

In other words, when someone raises with a 9 up, doesn't Bayesian analysis tell us he's more likely to be a moron than have AA, KK or 99 down?

In a tight game (e.g. Party 10/20), I think you lose a lot of value by not playing 4KK (in the right spots, of course). In a loose game (e.g. Party 1/2, live 3/6), I like a fold, though playing it may be okay.
