Default Foreman vs. Tyson

Who would win if Mike Tyson and George Foreman fought in their primes? For the former, his prime was in the late 1980s. For the latter, his prime was early 1970s.

Who would win if they fought now?

no one could beat tyson in his prime. I don't even think Ali could have done it. Tyson would have just broke 4 or 5 ribs while Ali tried to Rope a Dope.
I think some people forget how good Tyson really was until Don King got his claws in him and Buster Douglas' mother died and gave him inspiration.

Foreman would kill Tyson and we would finally be rid of him.

Ali rope a doped in the later part of his career, after he had missed the best of it from being forbidden to box. The early Ali had mobility that was easily the equal of Mike's ability to close with upper body movement, and his speed was never behind Tyson's.

Compare them at equal points in their careers, at least. Early Ali would have handled early Tyson, and late Ali would have slaughtered late Tyson. I'm not even convinced early Tyson would have beat late Ali, unless you're talking about Fat Ali or something.

The problem with Tyson is that he has no reach. It would be tough to him to really get clean punches off if Foreman/Ali would just grab him when he came inside. Look what Foreman did to Frazier.
