Default Anyone play the $1000rebuy at WSOP last year?

Did anyone play this event, and if so what was your experience? I know some tables were crazy (i.e. the one with Negreanu), but I imagine other tables were much tamer. Last year's event had:

NUMBER OF 2004 ENTRIES 538 Rebuys 796

I'm considering buying in through Pokerstars for the initial $1000, but I'd have to handle all the subsequent rebuys.

I played, 22nd place, went out when Daniel Negreanu (27 rebuys) called my reraise all in bet with KQ. I had JJ and he won the flip, he had me covered by just a little. I made no rebuys, no add ons.

I was lucky to draw a very easy table at the beginning with Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, Humberto Brenes and Kathy Liebert.

Phil Ivey tought me how to call all in bets with 62 when you have nothing invested in the pot. He made at least 8 rebuys by the time the table was broke.

It was a blast. I'm definetly playing again in this one.

Thanks sirio. Did you enter with the intention of not rebuying/ adding on? What was your chip position at the end of the rebuy period?

Hi Roswell:

My plan was to spend between 2 and 3k. We started with 1k chips I think, and by the end of the rebuy period I have about 5.4k, so I decided not to add on. Then my total investment was 1k. This year the plan is the same, 1k entry, 1k for one rebuy, just in case; and 1k for 1 add on if it adds significantly to my stack.
