Default $33\'s 4-handed bigstack bullying

Seat 2 is the button
Total number of players : 4
Seat 2: Hero ( $3410 )
Seat 4: SB ( $555 )
Seat 7: BB/Villain ( $3215 )
Seat 8: CO ( $820 )
Level:7, Blinds(150/300)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ Jd Ad ]

CO folds.
Hero's action?

This particular villain appears solid, although in the past month I've encountered several situations where a push in this spot (2 bigstacks, 2 shorties, you cover smaller bigstack by a hair) has elicited a moronic spite call from 2 broadways and/or a low pocket pair.

Not only can you bully here, you have AJs!!!! Now, if you had 87o, it might be tough, but AJs is easy shoving.

Hideous as it may seem, I've seen spite calls with all sorts of junk by villains in this spot; this situation is of course your prototype bigstack bully nirvana, but only to the extent that the lesser bigstack acknowledges the implications of an imminent shortstack bust.

I of course shoved AJs, and have shoved total trash in this spot as well, but lately have given it some thought in the case where villain's seat is occupied by a donk completely unimpressed with the bubble situation.

I quite agree!!! I have played 100 33s in the past 3 days and have had several spite/stupidity calls in just this situation!! All seem to agree this is a push and 85% of the time I agree! However, if I think villian might in the least be a donk, I fold! is that bad? Does 85% sound about right to the regular 33 players? I just moved up.

Why would you fold? If they are spite calling that means they are calling with crap and most likely you are going to double up and be in great position. Don't put your reasoning on one result... afterall you will be winning most "spite calls"
