I'm check/calling the river.
But why do you cap pre-flop??

AF of 3.17 is getting about as close to "big huge aggressive retard maniac" as you can get. I push really hard w/ my hands, but mmy postflop AF is still only at 2.3 or so. To get to 3.17 means you are raising and re-raising every piece of a flop.

I'm leaning towards backing down here like some others have said. Since you capped pf assuming you haven't been doing anything crazy pf before that, I would assume he puts you mainly on AA/KK/AKs. His aggression on the flop and turn tells me that most likely he can beat these hands unless he is pumping a strong draw, maybe AKd. We know he doesn't have pocket 10s and I doubt he would 3-bet with 2s so I'm probably slowing down here. I know that might be giving him too much credit, but I think that would be my reasoning.

grunch:

Given your line, I would have played AA the same way as villain. I say you should 3-bet the turn. If he caps, you can just call the river.
