Default 1 BB Saved Is 1 BB Earned?

Villain is 33.91 / 2.87 / 0.92 after 174 hands.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: (5 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, SB calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (5.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero ???

How is the turn? Raising or folding sure seem like decent options as well.

On the river, am I ahead enough to profitably call?

I don't mind a turn fold here - pot is fairly small and there aren't too many reasons for villian to play this hand the way he did with an ace or 2 pair or better. He's moderately passive and is often calling preflop rather than reraising with a premium hand as that pfr% is very low.

I don't like that donk bet on the turn. I think you are probably up against AJ. The pot is so darn small, I may have actually tossed it on the turn.

I'd fold that river. SB woke up when he hit that jack and didn't slow down.

Could be, but the donk bet showed up when the J fell. That doesn't always mean something, but it doesn't always "not" mean something.

His 34 vpip leads me to think he would play any ace here, if I had a jack, I would try to c/r this, I don't think you are going to get anybody who has nothing to call that bet, and it wouldn't be terrible if that gets checked through(his perspective).

You have to at least ask yourself why did he check the flop but bet the turn unless he improved on the turn. Like I said, he may not have, but he may have.
