Odds Question.

I was playing in a home game yesterday and we played a few hands of Omaha hi.

One of the players that thinks he knows a lot about poker states:

"I folded that flush draw because the odds are cut in half of catching your flush in omaha because so many cards are being used."

I replied with something like:

"If it's a 10 handed game of holdem or a 4 handed game of holdem the odds of catching a flush are just the same, so why would it be any different in a game of omaha, you just go be the unseen cards?"

Are the odds different in omaha than from holdem?
