Default $109\'s... Finkerbells

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) converter

UTG (t1710)
MP1 (t725)
MP2 (t1625)
Hero (t2110)
Button (t755)
SB (t880)
BB (t2195)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, Hero raises to t150, Button calls t150, 2 folds.

Flop: (t375) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t200, Hero raises to t1960 (All-In),

Final Pot: t2535

Kind of a weird hand. I guess I could just bet this flop and fold to a push, but that doesn't seem like any fun. Seems like this is the best way to get chips when I'm ahead, but is this outweighed by the times he's got me?

I thought they were fivekerbells

I would just bet 150 on the flop, but I dont hate your line.

I defintely don't raise preflop, but if i did I would bet a flop like this 100% of the time with one caller.

I raise here every single time. I don't see how you could do anything else.

I also think you guys are underestimating how good this flop is for me. It's not great, but it sure isn't bad.

Raise pf is mandatory here, especially at a $109. I like your line, but I don't think a check/call and push non-scary turn would be a bad one, either.

I'd want a read on Button before doing this though.

well thats why i said bet it 100% of the time. I know its good for you.

I play PS turbos, they have more play i guess, I limp here and play for set value. But maybe it's different at party. You have great chip position, so why start raising preflop with a hand that's hard to play postflop like 5s???? Yeah I don't know, just my playing style I guess.

Because I'm AMAZING. Nah, I'm kidding, I just think it's a very profitable hand to play from there. Plus I'm an aggro bastard; I just can't help myself.

Oh, I don't know, you could limp and play for set value. Just as an example.

Regarding the flop, it's ragged. So it becomes a pissing contest, which I try to avoid with 55.

Meh. Too much of a guessing game when the pot is too big and he doesn't have enough left. I mean if you wanted to call and push for some other reason, fine, but I don't think I'd do it with the intention of feeling out the turn.

The whole get a read thing would be nice. I know I had one too. I just can't remember what it was.
