Hand vs lag that i thought i played well
Party 2/4. Villian is a mega lag and we have tangled in many pots and i am pretty much the only one at the table playing back at him. He is not so much a bluffer he just mainly way over plays his hands. I thought i played this well on all streets but wanted to post it and see what everyone thinks.
Pre flop: folds to me in the sb and i raise A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and the lag calls. Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet, lag raises, i 3-bet, lag caps and i call. Turn: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet, lag raises and i call. River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, lag bets and i call.

Looks good to me...
Although I'd have gotten a lot crazier and gone 3 on the turn w/ TPTK vs a "mega lag"...the only mistake you can really make vs a LAGtard is underplaying your hand imo

I guess the other alternative line besides 3-popping the turn would be to bet/call the river. My river check didn't scare me though anything he would call a bet with he would bet with so i knew one bet was going in there.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, normally against mega-LAGs I bet/call both the turn and river. It all depends on what you've seen him show down.
