Ok, so assume no particular reads. I'll share my thoughts in a bit, but this felt pretty bad.

Wow, you hit a nice draw there, I would semi-bluff, for like $1000.

(I think you played it well).

What's that supposed to mean? what draw?

the call on the river was bad imho... I dont think he could have called flop reraise with anything worse what you had.

He almost certainly has X6 (X being > than 7)

i'm also wondering what draw.

i think you played it fine.... but this is all very read dependent. How often does this player limp, how about utg?, are they solid?, how tight and aggressive are they, etc.

Without any reads I think this line looks fine. I think villain here could easily have a pocket pair higher than 6s that he thought was good on this flop because you were not in the blinds.

My initial thought when he led the flop was "ha, he missed his limp re-raise." Then i looked at our stacks and realized it was unlikely i was going to stack one pair here, so i tryed to do the whole pot control thing. I still think i should generally be trying to get more money in, i just font know where.

agreed...
only thing i do diff on this hand is raise the river... rest of the hand looks fine...
w/ 2k, i might bet the turn, but w/ 3k overpairs will almost always fold to a turn bet... so i like to check and get some chips out of him on river... also u might avoid doubling up 55.

Why raise the river?? Is this not one of those cases where you are gonna be called almost exclusively by hands that beat you?... (I'm probably wrong but please tell me why)

by the time we get to the riv we have overwhelming evidence that UTG villain has an overpair, possibly a big one.
raise it 700-1k more and hope he is a suspicious one...
of course, if the guy moves in, thats ugly. he is prob full and hero is gonna have to let it go.
